Walterboro Police and Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry are asking for your help locating a suspect in connection to a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

Police say the suspect robbed the Woodforest Bank inside the Walmart on Bells Highway in Walterboro.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The suspect walked to the bank counter and presented a note to the teller stating “give me all of your money and no one gets hurt," according to police.

After grabbing the money, the suspect ran out of the store, and drove away in a dark-colored sedan with a missing rear hubcap, possibly a Volvo.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspect to submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers of the Low Country by visiting the website, calling 843-554-1111, or texting "TIPSC" and your information to CRIMES (274637)

Your tip could earn you a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
