The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a person accused of robbing the Circle K / Kangaroo gas station and convenience store at 1677 North Main Street in Summerville on Aug. 4.

The sheriff's office says the man in the video and photos above walked into the store shortly before 3 a.m., and robbed the place at gunpoint.

Deputies say the suspect, a black male about 5-foot-10, has some distinct features they hope can help you assist them in identifying the man.

The suspect reportedly suffers from a skin condition known as vitiligo, which causes blotches of skin to lose its color.

Deputies also say the man walks with an obvious limp, as shown in the video above. Additionally, deputies say the man has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

If anyone knows who this person is and where he may be located, please contact the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office at 843-719-4465, or Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry at 843-554-1111.
