Suspect arrested for Berkeley teen's shooting death

Deputies have arrested an 18-year-old believed to be responsible for a teenager's shooting death Tuesday in rural Berkeley County.

Rayquan Glover, of Moncks Corner, was arrested Wednesday night, Feb. 6. He is charged with murder after the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office says he shot a 17-year-old boy to death.

Deputies believe Glover shot the teen in the driveway of a home on Hard Pinch Road in Cordesville just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5. The teen was found dead from at least one gunshot wound.

Glover was arrested in January 2018 for having a gun on school grounds, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office officials say.

The Berkeley County Coroner's Office has not yet released the name of the shooting victim.
