A day after federal authorities put out his wanted flyer, a South Carolina fugitive has been arrested.

Daniel Earl Webb was arrested Thursday morning in Anderson County, U.S. Marshals say.

Webb, who is from South Carolina but was wanted in Virginia on several charges, had eluded police several times prior to his arrest, authorities say.

Webb was located after marshals received a tip. Homeland Security, SLED and the Anderson County Sheriff's Office assisted U.S. Marshals in their investigation and arrest.

Marshals say Webb will be returned to Virginia to face drug and firearm charges.
