Acclaimed actress Reese Witherspoon will be in Charleston Monday night promoting her new book with an interactive stage show at the Gaillard Center.
Witherspoon, star of films such as Sweet Home Alabama and Legally Blonde, and the TV series Big Little Lies, will participate in a live Q&A with fans, chatting about a variety of Southern accented topics.
The event is part of a national tour Witherspoon is conducting to promote her new book, Whiskey in a Teacup, which focuses on her Southern upbringing and how it has influenced her life and career.
The Gaillard Center said this about the event:
"Reese will share personal stories about what growing up in the South taught her about life, love, and work, and fans will learn how she entertains, decorates her home, and makes holidays special for her family. She will be joined by Emily Giffin for the conversation and audiences will learn just how easy it is to bring a little bit of Reese’s world into their home, no matter where they live."
Each ticket includes a copy of Whiskey in a Teacup.
The event was originally planned for Sept. 18, but was rescheduled because of Hurricane Florence's impacts in South Carolina.
As of 8 a.m., tickets were still available through the Gaillard Center, but later checks have shown the event to be sold out through the venue's online box office. ABC News 4 has reached out to the Gaillard Center to learn if tickets are still available at the venue's box office.
