Authorities have arrested a North Charleston man on child pornography charges, according to the South Carolina Attorney General's office.

Christian Liam Smith, 19, was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 3, on three charges of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Investigators say Smith distributed child pornography. He faces up to 10 years in prison for each charge if convicted.

Smith has since been released from jail on $30,000 bail.
