The full trailer for the latest movie in the "Halloween" franchise was released on Friday, and it's downright terrifying.
From people hiding in the closet, to blood curdling screams, this trailer covers all the horrifying signatures of a scary movie.
Filmed right here in Charleston, "Halloween" features Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) finally coming face-to-face with Michael Myers (Nick Castle), the masked figure who tried to kill her on Halloween 40 years ago.
According to IMDb, the first "Halloween" movie was released in 1978 and this will be the 11th in the series. According to the film's IMDb description, it will be the "final" confrontation between Strode and Myers.
The movie will be in theaters October 19, but after watching the trailer, you may be too afraid to come out of hiding long enough to go see it.
