North Charleston Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in an apartment Monday, February 4.
Police say they responded shortly before 3 p.m. Monday to a small group of apartments at the corner of Kraft Avenue and Tulip Street in the Charleston Heights neighborhood.
A 9-1-1 caller had reported a bullet came through their wall from a nearby apartment, police say.
When officers arrived, they found empty ammunition casings and blood on the floor in the apartment, and found a man unresponsive between the bed and the wall in a rear bedroom.
The man had been shot, according to police. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The Charleston County Coroner's Office has not yet released the name of the deceased person.
