Cecil Williams has been front and center for the past 70 years, capturing some of the biggest moments in South Carolina history with his camera.

His lifetime of work, particularly chronicling important moments in race relations during the Civil Rights Movement, is why Cecil Williams is ABC News 4's Jefferson Award winner for January 2019.
