Charleston Police say they have arrested a second suspect for vandalizing the Islamic Center of Charleston on King Street with graffiti last month.

Casey Logan Delre, 20, of Waterstone Lane in Charleston, is charged with malicious injury to a place of worship. He is scheduled to have a bond hearing Friday.

The vandalism incident happened on January 30, according to police.

Investigators believe Delre and another suspect, 18-year-old Hailey Riddle, spray-painted the words “Utterly Blessed” on the north side of the Islamic Center.

Riddle, a College of Charleston student, was arrested and charged on Feb. 13. Her attorney said the act was not malicious and she did not realize she was defacing a place of worship.

A College of Charleston spokesperson confirms Delre is not a student.

Court records are not yet available for Delre. It's unclear if he has an attorney.
